MASTERS® TF454 TINNING FLUX is specially formulated for use on lead-free fittings and valves. MASTERS® TINNING FLUX is a petrolatum based flux used for typical sweat soldering of lead-free fittings and valves. It contains lead-free tin powder that helps draw the solder to aid in reducing voids. It has excellent wetting properties for a smoother solder flow. It is NSF61-G listed for use with potable water systems. MASTERS® TINNING FLUX will work on pipe that is: Frozen or cold. Wet from condensation or thawing.
