The AF-480 unit provides automatic filling from potable pressurized systems to low pressure hydronic systems while providing safe isolation from potable systems via the built-in dual check with atmospheric vent. This prevents any possibility of back flow from the hydronic system into the potable water system. Setup is simple with the built-in pressure gauge; just dial in the desired system pressure to be maintained. The gauge can be mounted on either side of the assembly for easy viewing in any mounting direction. The pressure reducing valve is fully serviceable with removable filter cartridge for easy cleaning or replacement. The unit features an adjustable pressure range of 7 to 45 psi and ships preset to 12 psi. Unique to the AF-480 is a built-in hydronic side pressure gauge which allows the precise setting of the system pressure without additional downstream gauges.
